North Carolina Republican Women were well represented at the Rally in Raleigh, Tuesday, April 6. Our Republican Women Legislators joined with the group as Council of State Republican members Cherie Berry and Steve Troxler informed the crowd of their attempts to have North Carolina join other states in suing the federal government over the mandated ObamaCare.

Speaking at the rally were NCFRW members, in addition to Cherie Berry, were Rep. Pearl Burris Floyd, Felice Pete of Wake County RW, Dee Park of Moore RW and Catherine Wright of RW of Chapel Hill.

Dee Park excited the crowd as she yelled out "Where's Roy?" Attorney General Roy Cooper had mysteriously left town for a meeting in Charlotte. Even though, the regularly scheduled Council of State meeting was of the utmost importance to the people of NC.

Felice Pete closed out the rally with a rousing speech citing Fredrick Douglas and his desire to have government forget about handouts and get out of the way. She also talked about the desire of the left to divide us along racial lines and the name calling that she had experienced due to her conservative beliefs.
