Scholarship
Since 2016, the Wake County Republican Women’s Club has conducted an essay contest and awarded a scholarship to a qualified college-bound student. Each 500-600 word essay is read by our scholarship committee and evaluated to determine which best describes the annual topic.
Our competition takes place each fall, with the winner announced soon after the close of the competition period. Each winner receives an invitation to present their essay at our monthly meeting. Winners may receive up to $1,000, payable directly to the student’s chosen college or university.
